STRIPPING

In the field of dog grooming, we use the term stripping to refer to the elimination of dead hair immediately deposited on the skin hidden by living fur, which is usually longer, and therefore if hides. In other words, the stripping process consists in a kind of drainage of the fur's skin surface. It is not simple, since this represents the living fur completely free of knots, and that's hard, and can not be checked until we go to work. If we strip a dog that still has knots in its fur, it will complain each time we hit a knot. That's why it's a slow job, because you need to do it very carefully not to hurt the dog.

The inconveniences caused by dead-hair occlusion are of multiple natures. On the one hand, the weight gain that this can mean is a ballast that is slowly running out. In addition, they are nests of ticks and other parasites for which, the best paradise is precisely this space sheltered from outside by living skin, and full of nutrients extracted from dead hair.

No other wat. It is important, and it is a treatment rather than aesthetic orientation. Peculiarly, however, the agility that a pet acquires after having done it striping, becomes very visible and it beautifies the presence.
